Valuable service delivery discussions were facilitated by the West Coast District Municipality and the Western Cape Government Department of Local Government and Environmental Affairs, Department of Agriculture, Department of Infrastructure, Matzikama Municipality, and identified partners such as the Vanrhyndsdorp Agricultural Association and an innovative private sector partner. These discussions form part of a series of meetings with local municipalities in the district related to matters of communal interest affecting communities.

In attendance were MEC for Local Government, Anton Bredell, MEC for Infrastructure, Tertuis Simmers, Executive Mayor of West Coast District Municipality, Alderman Boffie Strydom, Executive Mayor of Matzikama Municipality, Alderman Johan Van der Hoven, Cllr Joost Engelbrecht (WCDM), Cllr Christo Boks (Matzikama), senior government officials and the private sector.
